Facility Rentals

The Terre Hill Community Center and Terre Hill Memorial Park Pavilions are available for rent for a variety of functions. Many groups have enjoyed using our facilities for a variety of events such as family gatherings; church or company picnics; showers, birthday parties, craft shows; etc.

The information provided below is an overview of the facilities and the rental process.

Terre Hill Community Center

Rental Information

Terre Hill Borough owns and operates the Terre Hill Community Center located at 131 West Main Street, Terre Hill.  The facility is available for rent by groups.

  • The Community Center consists of two floors which can be rented separately or together depending on the size and needs of the group.
  • Restrooms and the kitchen are located on the lower level.  There are no restrooms or kitchen facilities on the Auditorium level but anyone using this level has use of the restrooms on the lower level as well.
  • Kitchen includes four 6-unit commercial gas stove/ovens; reach-in refrigerator and upright freezer; microwave and coffee pots.  The stoves/ovens may be used for an additional $30.00 above the rental fee.
  • The Community Center rental reservations are scheduled by the hour with minimum four-hour block being the minimum rental time for the base fee; additional hours may be reserved for a per hour fee.  See fee schedule below.
  • Time reserved must include the entire amount of time the building will be occupied including time spent for setup and cleanup.  The facility can be rented to multiple groups in one day therefore it is necessary for groups to adhere to the time for which they have reserved the facility.
  • Folding tables and chairs are available for use.  The Borough does not set up or take down the tables and chairs for groups; Community Center users are responsible to set up and take down the tables and chairs they need to accommodate their event.
  • Parking is available around the building and in the rear parking lot located behind the Community Center and adjacent to the Tennis Courts.
  • Consumption of alcohol on Borough Property is prohibited.

Terre Hill Community Memorial Park

Pavilion & Park Rental Information

The Terre Hill Community Memorial Park is a 9-acre park located at 210 Lancaster Avenue, Terre Hill which features:

  • Main Pavilion with attached kitchen and restroom facilities
  • Two Small Pavilions with Outdoor Fireplaces
  • Bandshell
  • Main Restroom Building
  • Timbers Wooden Playground
  • Small Playground between Pavilions 2 and 3
  • Baseball Field
  • Softball Field
  • Basketball Court
  • Volleyball Court
  • Tennis Courts
  • Walking Trail
  • Family Picnic Area

**Consumption of alcohol on Borough Property is prohibited.

Pavilion Rental Information:

Pavilion rental fees cover the use of the reserved pavilion only; use of all other facilities at the Park are on a first come first serve basis.

Trash receptacles are provided around the Pavilions and throughout the Park.  Please place all trash in the provided trash receptacles.

In an effort to keep our Park free from debris, please refrain from using water balloons.  Water balloons leave small bits of rubber wherever they’ve exploded.  The rubber pieces from an exploded water balloon does not degrade leaving mess wherever they have been used.

Consumption of alcohol on Borough Property is prohibited.

Pavilion 1 (Main Pavilion) – $200.00

  • Located adjacent to the Timbers Playground.
  • Includes kitchen facility with commercial 6-burner gas stove/oven and a large flat-top grill; Reach-in refrigerator reach-in freezer.
  • The front counters of the Pavilion can be used for food service or there are folding tables available in the Pavilion kitchen that can be used to create a service line.
  • Male and Female single use restrooms are attached to the Pavilion.
  • Contains 30 eight-foot picnic tables set up in 5 rows; seats approximately 300 people.  The ends of the picnic tables closest to the pavilion kitchen are wheelchair accessible.
  • Please be advised that paper products, food, soda/bottled water and bagged ice stored in the Pavilion are property of the Terre Hill Days Committee for use for fundraising events and are NOT for use by rental groups.

Pavilion 2 – $60.00

  • Located across from the Timbers Playground.
  • Equipped with lights and electric (bring power strip extension cords if having an event where crockpots will need to be plugged in)
  • Contains 15 six-foot picnic tables set up in 3 rows and seats approximately 100 people.
  • Contains one 8-foot long serving table.
  • Outdoor fireplace adjacent to the pavilion.  The fireplace contains a rack for cooking but for sanitary purposes it is suggested that the rack be covered with aluminum foil before use.  The Borough does not provide wood for the fireplace therefore groups wishing to use the fireplace must bring their own wood.

Pavilion 3 –   $60.00

  • Located directly across the parking lot from Pavilion 1 and adjacent to the Main Restroom Building.
  • Equipped with lights and electric (bring power strip extension cords if having an event where crockpots will need to be plugged in)
  • Contains 15 six-foot picnic tables set up in 3 rows and seats approximately 100 people.
  • Contains 1 sixteen-foot long serving table.
  • Outdoor fireplace adjacent to the pavilion.  The fireplace contains a rack for cooking but for sanitary purposes it is suggested that the rack be covered with aluminum foil before use.  The Borough does not provide wood for the fireplace therefore groups wishing to use the fireplace must bring their own wood.

Please note that the listed seating capacities of each pavilion are an approximation and not a definitive amount.  Seating capacity will vary on the amount of space each person needs to be comfortable.  There is ample yard space around each pavilion for lawn chairs.

Entire Park – $300.00

This rental option provides for exclusive use of all three pavilions and use of the Field which contains the baseball and softball fields.  We are unable to close the Park off completely from the general public therefore it is possible that others may use areas such as the Family Picnic Area (located in the lower level of the Park along the Walking Trail); Timbers Playground and the volley ball, basketball and tennis courts.  Although use of these areas by others is possible, due to parking availability, large groups renting the Park are likely to be able to use these areas as well.
